To get the most out of your Omniwear garments and keep them looking fresh, it's important to follow proper care guidelines — especially for decorated pieces using DTF Heat Transfer or Embroidery.
Following these instructions will help maintain the quality, longevity, and appearance of your apparel.
DTF Heat Transfer (Direct to Film)
Wash and dry inside out
Use cold or cool water only on a gentle cycle
Do not use hot water
Do not use bleach, harsh chemicals, or fabric softeners
DO NOT tumble dry
Avoid drying in direct sunlight
Do not dry clean
Do not iron directly on the print
If needed, iron inside out on low heat
Avoid any high heat contact with the printed area
Important Notes
Allow at least 72 hours (3 days) after pressing before washing — the print continues to cure and fully adhere during this time
With correct care, your DTF prints should last at least 50+ washes
A faint heat press mark may be visible after pressing — this will disappear after 1–2 washes
Embroidery
Wash and dry inside out
Use cold or cool water on a gentle cycle
Do not use bleach, harsh chemicals, or fabric softeners
Air dry is preferred, or tumble dry on a delicate cycle
Do not dry clean
Do not iron directly on the embroidered areas
Important Notes
Embroidery should last the life of the garment when properly cared for
Some fading of thread colour or slight puckering may occur over time — this is normal and not a fault
A temporary hoop mark may appear after embroidery — this will disappear after the first or second wash
Tip
Always check the label of your specific garment for any extra care instructions. When in doubt — cold, gentle, and inside out is always best and DO NOT tumble dry
